Online Football Bookmaker Guide

Understanding bandar bola (Indonesian for football bookmaker) betting options and strategies for Indonesian punters

At ink798, we specialize in comprehensive football betting options tailored for Indonesian players. As a trusted bandar bola platform, we offer competitive odds on every major league and tournament, from BRI Liga 1 domestic matches featuring Persija Jakarta, Persib Bandung, and Bali United, to international competitions like the English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, and FIFA World Cup. Our platform also covers Asian tournaments including the AFF Cup and matches featuring Timnas Indonesia (the Garuda national team).

Handicap (Voor)

Asian Handicap, known as voor in Indonesian betting circles, is the most popular bet type in Indonesia. It levels the playing field between stronger and weaker teams by giving a virtual goal advantage or disadvantage. Understanding handicap lines is essential for serious bettors.

Over/Under (OU)

Bet on whether the total goals scored in a match will be over or under a specified line (typically 2.5 goals). This bet type doesn't require picking a winner, making it popular for matches with uncertain outcomes.

Mix Parlay

Mix parlay (Indonesian term for accumulator) combines multiple selections into one bet with significantly higher odds. All selections must win for the bet to pay out, offering high-risk, high-reward opportunities for experienced bettors.

1X2 (Win-Draw-Lose)

The traditional three-way bet: 1 for home win, X for draw, 2 for away win. Simple and straightforward, perfect for beginners starting their football betting journey.

Total Goals

Predict the exact total number of goals in a match or whether total goals will be odd or even. Offers varied odds depending on the accuracy of your prediction.

BTTS (Both Teams To Score)

Bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match. Popular for attacking-minded teams and high-scoring leagues like the Bundesliga and EPL.

About Asian Handicap

Asian Handicap betting originated in Indonesia and spread throughout Asia before gaining worldwide popularity. Unlike European handicaps, Asian handicaps eliminate the draw option and often use quarter-goal lines (0.25, 0.75, 1.25, etc.) that can result in partial wins or losses, adding strategic depth to betting. This system is particularly favored by professional bettors for its mathematical precision and reduced bookmaker margin. At ink798, we offer comprehensive Asian Handicap markets on all major football leagues with competitive odds.

Responsible Gaming Reminder: Football betting should be entertaining, not a source of income. Always bet within your means, never chase losses, and remember that even the most knowledgeable bettors experience losing streaks. 21+ only.

Understanding RTP & House Edge

Essential knowledge for informed gaming decisions

What is RTP (Return to Player)?

RTP stands for Return to Player and represents the percentage of all wagered money that a game will pay back to players over time. For example, a slot with 96% RTP will theoretically return Rp 96 for every Rp 100 wagered over millions of spins. It's important to understand that RTP is calculated over a very large number of plays—individual sessions can vary significantly due to volatility.

Slots

Typical RTP: 92% - 98%
Average: ~96%

Blackjack

Typical RTP: 99% - 99.5%
With optimal strategy

Roulette

European: 97.30%
American: 94.74%

What is House Edge?

House Edge is the flip side of RTP—it represents the casino's mathematical advantage over players. If a game has a 96% RTP, the house edge is 4% (100% - 96%). This built-in advantage ensures the casino remains profitable over time while still allowing individual players to win. Understanding house edge helps you choose games with better odds and manage your bankroll more effectively.

At ink798, we display RTP percentages transparently on all our games. We believe informed players make better decisions and enjoy gaming more responsibly. Games with higher RTP offer better long-term value, though short-term results always vary due to the random nature of gambling. Always play within your budget and treat gaming as entertainment, not a way to make money.

Betting Glossary

Master the essential terms every bettor should know

RTP (Return to Player)

The theoretical percentage of total bets that a game will pay back to players over time. Higher RTP means better long-term player value.

House Edge

The mathematical advantage the casino has over players, expressed as a percentage. Lower house edge means better odds for the player.

Wager

The amount of money placed on a bet. Also refers to playthrough requirements for bonuses (e.g., "30x wagering requirement").

Stake

The amount of money you risk on a single bet. Managing your stake size is crucial for responsible bankroll management.

Odds

The probability of an outcome expressed in numerical form. Higher odds mean lower probability but bigger potential payout if you win.

Spread

The point difference between two teams that a bettor can wager on. Common in American sports betting and Asian handicap markets.

Parlay / Accumulator

A bet combining multiple selections into one wager. All selections must win for the bet to pay out, but odds multiply for potentially huge returns.

Live Bet / In-Play

Betting on an event while it's happening in real-time. Odds change dynamically based on the current state of the game.

Cash Out

Settling your bet before the event concludes, allowing you to secure a profit or minimize a loss based on current odds.

Bankroll

The total amount of money you've set aside specifically for betting. Effective bankroll management is key to long-term responsible gaming.

Volatility

How often and how much a slot pays out. High volatility means bigger but less frequent wins; low volatility means smaller but more frequent wins.

Wagering Requirement

The number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw winnings. Example: 30x means you must wager 30 times the bonus.
